COVID-19 Policies

We are OPEN, but closed to foot traffic..

We know your pets are members of your family and we want to be able to continue to provide veterinary healthcare services to them, but we will need your help and understanding. In order to limit exposure to our staff, we have made some changes to our daily operations.

Please stay home if you are feeling ill or if you have been in close contact with those that are sick. If your pet needs veterinary care and you are sick, please reach out to a friend, family member, or a pet-sitter to organize transportation.

If you have traveled out of state or you should be quarantining, please re-schedule your appointment or make arrangements for another person to come for the appointment.

For Appointments:

  1. When you arrive, park at one of the 15 numbered signs. Call the office from the parking lot to let us know you are here. A staff member will ask you a few questions. For example: your cell phone number, location in the parking lot, your pet’s health, your health, and any traveling you have done in the past 30 days. They will instruct you on when a technician will be out to get your pet. Our staff are wearing masks, gloves, eye protection, and will use clean/disinfected leashes. We require that you wear face coverings when interacting with our staff and we ask that pets be outside of the car.
  2. After we take your pet into the building, you will remain in your car. The technician and doctor will call you for a history and discuss your pet’s appointment. They will discuss the findings, discuss treatment plans, & recommendations just as normally would happen in the exam room. To help streamline the process, please be available to answer your cell phone when the doctor calls. We have multiple phone lines so the number that the doctor calls you from may be different than our main number.
  3. If appropriate, discharge instructions will be emailed to you.
  4. An invoice will be verbally relayed for electronic payment over the phone. Receipts will be emailed.
  5. After the visit a staff member will bring your pet back to you outside.

For Medication & food refills:

Please call ahead so that a staff member can organize your refill or food. When you arrive, please call from your vehicle and a staff member can take payment from the phone and will bring the items outside and place them on our stone wall for contactless pick up.

All of the doctors and staff thank you for your help and understanding!
